CADA Media finds its roots in the heart of Brazil, more precisely at Montana Ranch, Carol’s family ranch, in the mountains of Minas Gerais. Among ranches and farms, dust, dry sun, and Quarter Horses, this daily life shaped our perspective. Weekends were marked by competitions at the ranches, while weekdays were filled with care, training sessions, and long horseback rides through the mountain landscapes. Our inspiration came from this rustic and demanding world: to value equestrian elegance and prolong the Western heritage through authentic and timeless images.

I’m Damien. Born in France, but it was in Brazil that I honed my eye as an equestrian photographer and videographer. Attentive to light, precise movement, and the detail of every dust particle, I seek to capture the raw truth of each moment.
I’m Carol. Born in Brazil, raised among ranches, farms, and Quarter Horses. Today, I’m an art director and social media manager: I shape the vision, ensure coherence, and bring a contemporary interpretation to this legacy.
Together, we combine our two cultures and sensibilities to create content that blends the raw power of the Western world with contemporary elegance.
What has always drawn us in is not only the horses themselves, but their role, their energy, and the presence they carry in work, sport, and in their relationship with humans.
Over the years, living among competitions and ranches, we have learned to recognize what truly makes a difference in an image.
This sensitivity does not come only from photographic technique.
It comes from lived experience: behind-the-scenes at dawn, arena dust, miles on the road, training at the ranch, and all those scenes that only those who live this world immediately recognize.
For us, photographing the Western world is not about “making pretty images.”
It is about capturing the horse’s essence, the truth of the moment, and the emotion that connects rider, horse, and performance.
